Sporting Background

I have been immersed in sports from a very early age with my father reaching Wimbledon and my mother competing for Great Britain in sprinting. Personally I have had a very diverse sporting background having competed in gymnastics, track and field, racket sports, running, cycling, duathlon and triathlon.

As a junior I competed for Dorset at 1500m, 3000m and Cross Country. At University I gained a full “Blue” for racket sports and competed in the World Racketlon Championships in Austria in 2006. I started competing seriously in triathlon and duathlon in 2001 and won the National Age Group Championships in my first competitive year.

I am the current European Amateur Duathlon Champion and National Duathlon series winner for the last two years. I won the World Long Course Amateur Duathlon Championship in 2007 and competed for Great Britain at Elite level in the World Duathlon Championships in 2008. I currently race in the Pro division for International Duathlon Events.
